15 Pics That Remind Us How Far The Kardashians Have Come
If you’ve been keeping up with the Kardashians since the premiere of their E! reality show, congrats! That’s a commitment that’s lasted longer than most of the family members’ marriages!
A 2002 sex tape featuring Kim and singer Ray J launched this famous family into the celebrity spotlight, and they’ve maintained one of the most affluent reality TV-business empires ever since. Famous for being famous, the Kardashian-Jenner family have been on screen since 2007, racking in seven spin-off series since the breakout of their show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” And with a family full of drama, it can be hard to keep up. Here’s a look at how far our favorite family has come in the past decade!

Between chic business attire to bougie athleisure, if there’s a fashion statement you’re too scared to make yourself, don’t worry – Kim has beat you to it. And probably mastered it.
Kim is definitely making a statement in this patterned chiffon dress and vest, and for the record, I sat at my laptop for a few minutes trying to figure out how I could roast this look but I think it roasts itself. This is from 2008-ish, though, so we’ll cut her some slack.

What is going on here? This look provides no better perspective on the Kardashians’ fashion evolutions…especially Kourtney’s.
In this Betty Boop-inspired body con dress, Kourtney definitely brought all eyes on her at this red carpet event. She paired the dress with a metallic clutch, topping it off with loppy bangs and an ~awful~ red lip. This blunt makeup trend is the epitome of 2009 and something that celebs thought was actually a good idea. Maybe this is what inspired Kylie Lip Kits? Who knows, but this just proves how far the eldest of the Kardashians has come.

If you had told us when the show premiered that the youngest Kardashian-Jenner would boast a multi-million dollar cosmetic line and share a child with rapper Travis Scott within a little over a decade, we would have laughed in your face. I mean look at this picture of Kylie from the late-2000s.
Looking back, that smoky eye is a low key disaster but back then, it was all the rage. Especially for this trend-setting PacSun model.

Before she was a reality TV star, Kim was socialite Paris Hilton’s personal assistant and stylist. Imagining that role in today’s world is kind of insane, considering Kim is now a much bigger sensation than Paris herself ever was. But the pictures that came from this era are gems, like this one, where Kim’s curls and skin tight, patterned dress are a complete 360 from her minimalist style today.

Khloe has had a major transformation in terms of looks, and this 2010 pic is here to prove it. The youngest sister of the OG Kardashians, Khloe’s now super into fitness and has made countless headlines for her completely different look.
Between fillers, makeup, and experimental hairstyles, “Khlo Money” is almost unrecognizable compared to when she first stepped into the spotlight.

Kim has always been an inspiration for her little sisters Kendall and Kylie…even during the cringiest of fashion periods. Between their strappy sandals and empire waist dresses, we can’t help but smile from nostalgia at this picture. Take note of Kendall’s ankle bracelets – an early 2000s essential. And so too is that “Bump It” Kylie is rocking.

Recognize this face? Probably not, but that’s okay because puberty hit Kendall Jenner like a truck. The elder Kardashian-Jenner sister has humble roots in modelling, like here at age 17, but has since become one of the (if not THE) highest grossing supermodels in the world.
Now 23, Kendall has graced multiple Vogue and Teen Vogue covers, and has walked in shows from Chanel to Versace. She’s also a Victoria’s Secret Angel, and constantly crushes our self esteems. Of course the Kardashians have tapped into the fashion world.

As you can see from this throwback to an US Weekly event, 2006 Kim was super into the shirt dress trend and big belt buckles. Very big belt buckles, that is. She was definitely a trend setter in those black boots, too, which give our 2020 radars major pirate vibes. But that’s okay – Kim’s definitely got the booty to support it!

The Kardashians may not have the cleanest relationship track records, but with three children between the two, Kourtney and Scott are definitely co-parent goals. They’ve come along way from their rocky start, which we are reminded of here at what looks like the premiere of Step Brothers.
What’s particularly adorable about this is that you can tell Scott hadn’t come into his wealth yet; Lord Discick was not yet born, and instead he looked kinda goofy with that huge watch. Regardless, let’s take a moment to appreciate how young they look.

Oh, boy. This is a photo that actually exists of the OG Kardashians in open toed heels. Amazing. And not to mention Khloe’s leopard print slip dress next to Kourtney’s blinged out bow. They really captured the entire essence of an era in this red carpet appearance.

There’s no doubt that Khloe would be mortified at this fashion choice if she looked at it today. But again, the early- to mid-2000s were a very different time!
Here’s another instance of the Kardashians taking a trend to another level: those blunt, low-rise white pants with a matching belt and open toes heels are an ~interesting~ choice, to put it kindly. But baby Khlo looks all smiles and adorable here, nonetheless.

In this Monte Carlo appearance throwback, Kris Jenner somehow looks like an impersonator of herself. Thank the lord she graduated from the big sunglasses phase, because it’s hard to take your eyes off of her huge white-rimmed frames, which match her A-line embroidered dress. Kim’s look – a black mermaid dress with a statement belt – only digs this pic deeper into the 2000s rabbit hole, and makes us grateful for Yeezy.

This more recent throwback of Kim is a friendly reminder that shortly after giving birth to her first daughter, North, the now-mom-of-four had a blonde phase that had everyone yelling into the void. And she totally owned it. This is probably the only non-cringe pic included that proves how far the famous family has come.

The Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons duo are pictured here at what seems to be a business casual event. Khloe’s beachy waves and leopard print belt totally encapsulate the 2010s, and so does Kourt’s suit and slicked back hair. Very on trend, once again.
