What Your Girls Night Drink Choice Says About You
So you’re hanging out with the girls when you notice that your friends each have a go-to drink choice. Whether it’s liquor, beers or wine, each one likes a particular drink and tend to stick with that choice every time you go out. Surprisingly, what we choose to drink says quite a bit about our personalities, especially what we drink when we are out at girl’s night. Of course, it goes without saying that there is no shame in anyone’s drink choice, so let the people drink and be what they choose!
Beer
Starting simply with beer, girls who order beers at bars tend to be chill, happy people. Choosing to get a beer means they aren’t fussy and are unassuming. Beer drinkers are the honest ones of the friend group and keep everyone down to earth. They don’t believe in BS and will call you out on it, but in a laid back way.
Wine
When it comes to wine, you first have to break it into three groups: those who drink red or white wine and those who drink bubbly wine. All groups are looking to get buzzed but in a classy way and love to be social.
Red wine drinkers tend to have well-developed tastes in drinks and their clothing. They tend to be poised and will hold the group together all while still carefully drinking out of her glass. Be careful though, too many glasses and she may get a lil crazy.
White wine drinkers generally don’t actually like drinking so they choose a white wine like a pino to make it easier going down. These gals are the gossip queens and will chat with you all evening if you let them. The good news is, they are so friendly they can talk to just about anyone so they’ll be fine if you leave them alone.
Finally, if a girl’s drink choice is something in the bubbly wine category like a moscato or pink like a rose, they just feel obligated to drink because everyone else is. They are more of a follower than a leader and are fine with the other people in the group making the plans. They are total sweethearts and great listeners, so don’t get put off by their shy nature.
Vodka Soda
There are two types of girls who drink vodka sodas. One, girls who are health-obsessed and want a low-cal drink OR those who just actually like the taste of vodka! Either way, both girls like simplicity and routine. They know that one easy drink will do the job and they don’t need more than that! They tend to be sensible and might be the mom of the group. They are dependable, just like their drink choice and will plan their day and girl’s night to a T!
Gin and Tonic
A step up from a vodka soda, girls who drink gin and tonics are steadfast, set in their ways and sometimes are a plain Jane. However, they are charming and cool, fine with being by themselves. Since it is a slight improvement on a vodka soda, they tend to be willing to improve on their situation or plans to make it more memorable and fun.
Rum and Cola
Girls who drink rum and coke are still not past their teenage glory years, and they are young at heart. Fun to be around, you’ll find them in the center of the dance floor or laughing at the bar. They may be indecisive but when the time comes, they will have your back. Always invite them out because they will make sure everyone has a great time!
Martini
Girls who choose to drink martinis can hold their liquor and they want everyone to know it! Martini drinkers tend to be collected and have classic tastes. They are fine with never deviating from their choices and can be set in their ways. They also have a constant battle of choosing their head over their heart so they like talking out decisions with others.
Margarita
Gals who always reach for tequila drinks thrive in heat and come alive at night! You’ll find them at the center of the action whether it’s the dance floor or a crowd of friends. If they choose it to be on the rocks, they are confidents and not scared to be themselves. If they like a fruity blend, they are just plain FUN! (As someone who generally leans towards tequila, I find this to be very accurate!)
Tiki Drinks/Mixed Drinks
Anyone who goes for a sugary mixed drink as their drink choice is one strong and tough cookie since all that sugar covers up a large amount of booze! Girls who like these drinks are super fun, love being surrounded by people and aren’t afraid of a little hangover if it means a good time! They can be a little high-maintenance some times but they are confident in who they are.
Champagne
Girls who choose to drink champagne just on any random night likes to celebrate living every day. They are bubbly just like their drink choice and full of life. They have excellent taste in everything and are always willing to give advice. They tend to be a people observer so they are great at reading people and being ready to help if needed. They treat their whole life like it’s a special occasion!
Shots, Long Island Iced Teas, Jack Daniels
If a girl’s drink choice falls into this category, they are always down for a good time. They tend to love being surrounded by people and don’t mind being the center of attention. They don’t mind their lives or parties getting a little crazy and won’t back down from a challenge. They bring others out of their shells so everyone can have fun! Some people may say they’re trouble but once they get to know them they’ll find these girls have a heart of gold!
