It’s fairly straightforward in terms of ingredients for a typical cake such as butter, chocolate, sugar, eggs, flour and more. You’ll also add some pecans for some added flavor and crunch! While the cake is baking it’s a good time to whip up the homemade chocolate frosting. Heat up butter, milk, and cocoa in a saucepan for a few minutes, then turn up the heat slightly and bring the mixture to a boil. Only let it boil for about a minute then take it off the stovetop. Mix in and whisk powdered sugar and vanilla to make a delicious and smooth chocolate frosting!
