The 5 Most Inexpensive And Delicious Wines For Your Next Girls Night In

Say goodbye to Barefoot, ladies, I’ve got a great list of wines you can break out when you want to binge-watch Big Little Lies. Not only are these wines super cheap, but they are also packed with flavor so no one has to know you bought them for less than $20.

I find wine stores to be insanely intimidating (so many choices! So many high prices!), so all of these can be found at your local grocery store, or Trader Joes. These options give you the chance to figure out what kind of flavors you like in wine, so you can make more informed choices later on. Make a big batch of pasta and invite your friends over so you can show off your great taste in wine!  You’ll definitely feel like a real grownup with these tasty picks.

1. The Prisoner

This red blend is made from California grapes, which is where some of the best wine comes from and the bold flavor makes you feel like you’re not missing out on anything despite the low price. I find this to be a little on the heavier side, so I prefer sipping it by itself after a light meal. It’s almost like a grownup dessert! I love this wine so much I usually buy a few bottles at a time, so stock up and let the good times roll!

2. Wish Flower White Wine

This wine costs less than 10 bucks, but you’d never be able to tell thanks to its light, fruity flavor. It has hints of apples and pear, so sipping this will transport you to a farmers market on a fresh Sunday afternoon.

I get this at Trader Joes when I’m tired of drinking heavy red wines. It’s absolutely perfect for summer, or those crisp fall afternoons when you want to relax in the sun. Bring it to a BBQ and you’ll be the hit of the party! Just make sure you drink responsibly with this one. It’s easy to go overboard with wine that’s this good with such a low price tag!

3. La Marca Prosecco

If you’re anything like me, you prefer something a little bubbly when you’re in the mood to celebrate. I like this prosecco because it isn’t as dry as a lot of other brands are, which makes for smoother sipping.

This cheap wine costs about $15, so it tastes great without breaking the bank. They also come in mini bottles which are perfect for traveling! You’ll feel fancy AF without feeling like you overindulged. Pop some bottles and watch everyone’s face light up with smiles!

4. Aix Rosé

You may not be able to pronounce this wine the way the French do, but you’ll enjoy it nonetheless. This tasty wine is a gorgeous millennial pink color, so it’ll be a great addition to your Instagram page. You’ll definitely want to brag about scoring this wine– it costs about $20 and tastes like a dream! It’s sweet without being cloying, and not too dry so it will quench your thirst. Bring it to a pool party and everyone will be talking about your great taste.

5. Erath Pinot Noir

This fresh-tasting wine is great for dinner parties because it pairs nicely with a wide variety of foods. It’s not so heavy that it will overwhelm light dishes like salads or roasted vegetables, but is bold enough to stand up to heavy meats like lamb, or cheesy dishes. If you’re looking for a full-bodied, earthy wine that costs less than $20, look no further.
