Epic Paris Vacation Spots The Next Time You’re Visiting France

Oh, how I would love to one day visit Paris. Named the city of love for a reason, Paris has become one of the top travel destinations in the world. So, the next time you’re visiting the city of love, make sure you visit these Paris vacation spots.

1. Seine River

Explore one of the best Paris vacation spots while you’re settling in. You’ll enjoy the Saint-Louis and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Once you’re heading east, you’ll enjoy some cozy hotels and charming restaurants. Often nicknamed ‘Paris most beautiful avenue,’ the Seine River is located near some of Paris’ most iconic landmarks. A boat cruise on the Seine will allow travelers to see these landmarks and get a sense of how beautiful and vibrant the city truly is. The river also divides the city of Paris into two distinct left and right banks. The banks themselves are connected by a total of 37 bridges, including the Effiel Tower, the Pont des Arts, and the Pont Neuf. The river’s name originates in the Latin word ‘sequana.’

2. The Eiffel Tower

Yeah, no brainer. Built for the 1889 universal exhibition, the Eiffel Tower has become the ideal Paris vacation spots in terms of sightseeing. Not only is the view from the top of the tower is awe-inspiring, but you’ll be in the presence of a significant landmark featured in many different mediums. Brilliant engineer Gustave Eiffel and his company were responsible for constructing the tower. The assembly of supports for the tower began on July 1, 1887, and was then completed twenty-two months later.

The tower was assembled using wooden scaffolding and small steam cranes. Also, there’s a restaurant on the second floor that serves expensive food. How can you get better than that? On a side note, didn’t Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker had a fight scene in the EiffelTower during one of the Rush Hour films? If true, then all the more reason to go. In terms of Paris vacation spots, this one has a historical aspect to it that trumps all others.
