10 Must-Visit Brunch Spots In Montreal
Montreal is renowned for the variety of delicious restaurants of all kinds. They certainly don’t disappoint when it comes to brunch restaurants, and these are the best of the best.
1. Barley
It’s technically a cereal bar, but they have so much more to offer. Smoothie bowls, chia bowls, salads, and every single thing is absolutely delicious. On the weekends they also have a selection of hot (& not to mention aesthetically pleasing brunch foods) that are some of the best in Montreal.
2. Tommy
Tommy has two locations in Montreal, and both of them have quality coffee accompanied with some mouth-watering food. They also have the added bonus of being in the Old Port, one of the most scenic and historical places in the city. If you’re really hungry, get their French Toast Waffle – it’s to die for.
3. Restaurant L’Avenue
This restaurant was featured in the TV show “You Gotta Eat Here”, and with good reason! With their eccentric decor and delicious food, there’s really nothing to complain about here, other than the occasional long line due to its popularity. It’s definitely worth the wait!
4. Le Passé Composé Montreal
Are you a foodie? Then this place is perfect for you. Their plates are perfect for quality instagram food pics with the added bonus of making your stomach just as happy. Their high-quality food is some of the the most sought-after in Montreal, and when you try it, you’ll see why.
5. Arthur’s Nosh Bar
This place is one of my personal favourites, and with good reason. Classic Jewish cuisine is definitely at it’s finest at Arthur’s. It’s one of the most popular spots in Montreal because of classic dishes like their cottage cheese pancakes, bagel lox, classic scramble, and many more. Oh, and the best part? Their icing and sprinkle cookies. They’re so good you’ll want to keep coming back for more.
6. Sparrow
Sparrow does comfort food with a twist. This Mile-End brunch spot puts their own unique spin on just about every classic breakfast dish you can think of. There’s something for everyone, and it’s one of the best places in Montreal.Gourmet comfort foods sound just about as close to heaven as you can get to me.
7. Café Melbourne
Smoothie bowls, breakfast sandwiches, colourful lattes, what more could you ask for? While the menu at this fan-favourite is ever-changing, you certainly won’t be disappointed no matter what the options are any given week. This Mile-End spot is one of Montreal’s most delicious brunch spots, hands down.
8. Le Cartet
Another great spot in the Old Port of Montreal, Le Cartet serves up some hearty brunch with a ton of unique side-dish options. Their ingredients are always of the highest quality, and so is the presentation of their meals. Bonus: It also has a little shop where you can buy some food & spreads to take home!
9. Leméac
Looking for a higher end brunch? Then this is the spot for you. Their gourmet food is sure to leave you waiting for the next time you come back. Their decadent foods will make your friends love you even more for taking them here. They really take brunch to the next level in the best possible way.
10. Foiegwa
While Foiegwa is renowned in Montreal for their delicious dinner food, their brunch certainly doesn’t disappoint either. This French restaurant serves sweet or savory, whatever you’re feeling on that given day. A good brunch with a mimosa really can’t be beat.
