What To Do With A Stubborn Pimple
It’s almost as if acne is aware of important moments. Your skin has been nothing but clear for the past 2 weeks consecutively and yet the morning before the date with the actual person of your dreams you get a stubborn pimple, possibly the worst you’ve ever encountered. You begin to contemplate how this began, you’ve been drinking your water, exercising, sticking to your skin care regimen every day and night, even doing face masks every now and again for extra insurance, and to top it all off your diet has been superb. But, nevertheless here you are with a stubborn pimple. Down below is a list of ways to get rid of that stubborn pimple.
Pimple Patches
Pimple patches are truly the newest phenomenon in beauty, but specifically skin care. These little babies are facial miracles as they work overnight to get rid of that stubborn pimple, you’ve been trying to pray away. They do all the work for you, while you get to reap the benefits. Just put them on before you go to bed (or if you have around 2 hours of free time during the day you could do it then to), and go to sleep and wake up to an incredibly downsized pimple.
Ice It
This method is pretty cost efficient and you won’t have to go far to achieve it, simply to the fridge. So, you get an ice cube either place it in a paper towel or a plastic baggy and place it on the stubborn pimple currently residing on your face. The ice will work to tone down any redness and inflammation. This works more as a quick fix than anything else, the pimple will shrink for a few hours, but might be back to haunt you later, so watch out for that.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is truly one of my favorite skincare products, it is perfect for evening out the skin tone and preventing any future breakouts. But, what should you do in the case of a stubborn pimple. Well, get a small spray bottle and add 2 parts ACV and 1 part water for the perfect mixture. Then go grab yourself a q-tip and spray the mixture on to it, following with placing the damp q-tip on to that stubborn pimple, that will soon be gone! I personally use this method in the morning and evening to make sure that spot goes away quick.
Toothpaste
Okay so, toothpaste is practically a standing staple in the “getting rid of a stubborn pimple” community. However, there are some ways that you need to specifically approach the toothpaste you use. Make sure that it is not gel because it will not help shrink the pimple the same way a traditional paste would. You also need to make absolutely sure that it is not whitening toothpaste, although it is great for your teeth it would not be optimal to put it on your face. Finally don’t do this too often or put it on multiple places on your face as it could throw off your skins pH balance.
