2. Nossa Familia Coffee

Located inside an incredibly elegant lobby at the CalEdison in Downtown LA, this is the perfect place to nestle in and get some work done. Who needs Starbucks when you can sit in an opulent lobby and appreciate the beautiful art hanging on the walls as you sip on perfectly crafted espresso? Though it is tucked away, you won’t regret stumbling into this shop for some excellent java. Keep an eye out and you just might find it!

3. Civil Coffee

You’ll want to post pics of everything at this little cafe! From the chic, spacious, decor to the  delectable pastries and latte art, you’ll want to fill your Instagram with this aesthetic. Some customer favorites include The Figueroa which is made with condensed milk, cinnamon, milk, espresso and a Maria cookie  for good measure. This shop also has plenty of couch and bar space so you could come and work for a few hours.

There is something whimsical about this charming cafe. You’ll feel like you just stepped into an English garden or maybe followed Alice down the rabbit hole. The decor features everything from garden chairs to thrones and even a fireplace. The outside seating area even has its own pantry where you can grab complimentary water and Togo boxes, along with condiments. The menu features a variety of coffee and tea options as well as full on breakfast and lunch delicacies. Our favorites are the pastries! We highly recommend their bread pudding or their M&M bar. This chic cafe offers teas on tap! How much cooler can you get? Located in Old Pasadena, this spot features an amazing brunch and even live music on weekends. This doesn’t even feel like a coffee shop, but more of a hip lounge. The darkwood and open space makes this feel like an upscale coffee joint.
