Do It Big This Summer With These New Jeffree Star Must-Haves
We’ve already seen some pretty cool launches this summer in the makeup industry, but it wouldn’t be complete without a brand-new collection from the one and only, Jeffree Star. Per usual, Jeffree is doing it big with a wide range of beauty products. Jeffree’s newest summer releases include a new eyeshadow palette, along with eight new velour liquid lipstick shades, four velour lip scrubs, three hand-held mirrors, seven fashion pieces and three makeup bags. That’s a lot! He’s serving full summer glam makeup looks this season. But if you know Jeffree, then you know his signature style is not only bold but colorful. Check out these new Jeffree Star must-haves!
Thirsty Eyeshadow Palette
The Thirsty eyeshadow palette is a bright and bold palette that mixes both warm and cool shades. It retails for $48.00 and includes 15 new shades. The palette features bright summer colors ranging from blues and pinks to yellows and browns. It contains 10 matte shades and five shimmers. As of now, the palette is completely out of stock. Fingers crossed for a re-stock? This is one of the coolest Jeffree Star must-haves.
Lipsticks
His summer collection features five mattes and three metallic shades in neon orange packaging. Most of the colors are signature summer shades; bright pinks and oranges. This collection is definitely not for the faint of heart. You can purchase the lipsticks individually for $18.00 or you can buy all eight shades in a bundle for $105.00. As a makeup lover, I would argue that Jeffree has one of the best liquid lipstick formulas on the market. His shades, whatever the color, are always fully opaque, non-sticky and drying, all across the board. Sometimes the colors he releases aren’t for everyday wear–but it wouldn’t be Jeffree without a few pops of color in his brand.
Lip Scrubs
Jeffree’s summer 2018 velour lip scrubs come in four new flavors: Pink Lemonade, Rainbow Sherbet, Grape Soda and Orange Gummy Bear. According to the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website, the purpose of a lip scrub is to “prep your lips before applying any liquid lipstick”. By simply applying the product onto your lips, They each retail for $12.00 online, and are similar in quality to his makeup products. This is one of the best Jeffree Star must-haves.
Mirrors
Jeffree recently added hand-held mirrors to his brand, but of course, they aren’t just any type of hand-held mirrors. Created in his signature star design, these large mirrors come in all sorts of colors. This collection features a new rectangular style mirror. Jeffree made sure to incorporate the summer theme in his newest additions through color and naming (Orange Hand Mirror, Creamsicle Hand Mirror, Bomb Pop Hand Mirror). All three styles are currently up for pre-order, and retail for $20.00.
Clothing
Fashion is another new addition to Jeffree’s line. If you follow Jeffree on social media or watch his YouTube videos, you know how much of a fashion guru he is. This summer he launched four new t-shirts and two sleeveless hoodies, all named and designed to match the two rectangular hand-held mirrors. The t-shirts retail for $25.00 and the sleeveless hoodies retail for $45.00.
Makeup Bags
Lastly, Jeffree launched three new makeup bags that are pretty large in size. They are designed to hold lots of makeup, which is pretty convenient for those of us who travel with “options.” Two of these bags are travel bags, with color options in pink and orange. The third bag is an orange translucent standard storage makeup bag. All of the bags are currently up for pre-order, with the travel bags retailing for $30.00, and the orange translucent bag retailing for $28.00.
