Some are certainly more popular than others, though sometimes the lesser known places can be the hidden gems. As many students have come to realize, gaining weight during college is inevitable. So if you’re going to do it, why not do it right? In no particular order, here are the 20 most delicious places and things to eat at the University of Oregon before you graduate!

1. Pancake House

Located just minutes away from campus, it is rare to see Pancake House empty, even at 6 a.m.! This hot breakfast spot often has waits up to an hour or more on weekends but never fails to deliver hot and ready breakfast to its hungry diners!

Try: The “Dollar Pancakes” with chocolate chips and whipped cream and add a side of “Homefries.”

Bagelstein is a one of a kind bagel store located in downtown Eugene. It is known for its variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors, cheap price, and great taste. The shop sells loose leaf teas, chai, kombucha, and of course, boba. Additionally, customers can purchase their own kettles, tea strainers, mugs, and more! One of the best things about Townshend’s being in The EMU is that students can use their campus cash! This is one of the most convenient things to eat at the University of Oregon.

An Oregon classic, this Voodoo is located downtown right across of Sizzle Pie, Townshend’s, and Kesey Square. Besides the doughnuts they sell from their iconic rotating case, they’ve also got merch including Voodoo Doughnut underwear! A family run business, this ice cream shoppe has been in Eugene for almost 50 years! Surprisingly, Oregon’s cold weather does not stop customers, young and old, from enjoying this sweet treat! Located on 19th and Agate, consumers are offered a choice of cups, cones, shakes, and even custom sundaes! With so many creamy and rich flavors to choose from it is hard to settle on just one and ice cream lovers often opt for the double scoop. During his presidency, Barack Obama along with his wife Michelle, visited the hot spot in 2008.

Another popular spot amongst college kids due to its low prices and late hours, we can’t forget Dairy Queen! Before coming to The University of Oregon I was unaware they had items besides ice cream and boy was I surprised! DQ never fails to hit the spot at the end of a late night out and you will never see it empty on the weekend between 11 p.m. and their close 3 a.m..
