8 Rustic Entertainment Centers For Your First Home

If there’s one style that I’m quite fond of, it’s anything that’s rustic. Rustic style has been something that has been very prominent throughout my life, as my folks are avid fans of this style. Honestly, that’s probably where I get my taste in furniture from, and that’s certainly not a bad thing. I prefer my home to be open and inviting to family and friends. Modern style just seems so cold, distant and looks like it should belong in a museum; basically, don’t touch anything. I want my guests to feel at home when they come over to my husband and I’s place. Now, I may not have as much rustic furniture as my parents do, but I inspire to have all of my furniture match that style one day. Once my hubby and I buy a house, then I’ll have much more room to fill my rustic furniture with. The one furniture piece that I’m most excited about owning someday, is a beautiful rustic entertainment center. Even if the rest of your furniture isn’t rustic style, a rustic entertainment center will fit seamlessly in, and create a fabulous focal point for the living room. Here are nine amazing rustic entertainment centers that are ideal for your first home.

1.  Barn Door

I absolutely love when rustic style uses elements from barns! That’s probably the reason I got married in one; like I said, I adore this style. This rustic entertainment center from Wayfair features a beautiful espresso wood with classic barn doors on each side. Naturally, this entertainment center also comes with a variety of shelves that are perfect to hold everything from your Blu-ray collection to your favorite gaming console. I also like how this rustic entertainment center comes with cable management, to help keep all of your cords organized. This is truly a stunning entertainment center for your first home!

2. Rugged Fireplace

Yes, you read that correctly. This rustic entertainment center from Ashley Furniture also comes with an electric fireplace! Although, I do prefer real or gas fireplaces, I don’t actually mind electric fireplaces that much. My parent’s fifth wheel has one, and it definitely kicks off some good heat; which is perfect during those cold Colorado Rocky nights. The entertainment center features beautiful engineered wood that is reminiscent of barn wood, and has four pull-out drawers that are perfect for movie storage. This is one rustic entertainment center that is too awesome to pass up!

3. Farmhouse Metal Accents

Most of the time when entertainment centers have open concepts, it’s not all that attractive to me, but with this particular rustic entertainment center, it works quite well. I really like how they blended industrial and rustic styles seamlessly together! This entertainment center from Wayfair features two glass front doors, that are soft close, with adjustable shelves, along with side shelves that are adorned with metal accents. I love the color of the wood that they used for this rustic entertainment center, and how it also has cable management! This entertainment center would look wonderful in any first house.

4. Barn Wood

I will tell you that this rustic entertainment center from Ashley Furniture is very similar to the fireplace entertainment center. This one is for those who are not a fan of having an electric fireplace in their entertainment center, which I totally respect. But if you were to ever change your mind, this rustic entertainment center is compatible with those fireplace inserts. Again, I love the look of this entertainment center, and how it resembles old barn wood. I also like how the drawers are actually storage cabinets, and that the shelves, which are adjustable, are centered in the middle! How could you say no to this simple rustic entertainment center?

I actually love the color of this rustic entertainment center from Wayfair! I’ve always been a fan of the distressed look, as it just adds to the rustic feel of the furniture that much more. This entertainment center features two detailed side cabinets with adjustable shelves, along with two middle shelves that are perfect for your gaming console or cable box. The center shelves are also perfect for holding a soundbar; I call that a win! That’s one thing I wish my husband and I’s entertainment center had, a shelf just for the soundbar. The traditional appeal of this rustic entertainment center will certainly spruce up any living room.

If there’s one thing that I absolutely love about entertainment centers, it’s the storage, especially when there’s a lot of it. This rustic four-piece entertainment center from Ashley Furniture is ideal for tons of storage, including movies, books, cable boxes and gaming consoles. Honestly, I would use one of the tall shelves for books, and the other one for DVDs and Blu-ray. Plus, there’s a long top shelf that sits over the TV, that is perfect to hold all of your smaller knick-knacks. I also love the pine grain finish on this rustic entertainment center, and how the handles on the storage cabinets are in a gunmetal finish. Overall, it’s a beautiful product that will be the ultimate focal point of any living room.

7. Wood Throwback

Now normally, I’m not the biggest fan of the ’60s, but this rustic entertainment center from Wayfair offers a cool throwback that is reminiscent of that era. Mid-century modern was definitely a style choice back in the day, but it offers a charming vintage touch to modern day living rooms. My favorite feature on this rustic entertainment center is the cute little iron hairpin legs! I also love how they did a natural finish on the wood, and that the two cabinets on either side offer plenty of room for storage. Plus, with this particular entertainment center being longer in length, there’s spacious room up top for various knick-knacks and potted plants, if you so choose. Give your living room a classic throwback look with this beautiful entertainment center!

Here is another beautiful rustic entertainment center from Ashley Furniture that contains an electric fireplace! I definitely fell in love with the white wood finish on this particular entertainment center, along with the farmhouse style touches that can be seen throughout. I consider this entertainment center to be more simplistic in looks, and I love the barn door style on both of the cabinets! One of the main things that I like about this rustic entertainment center, is that the fireplace is removable, and you can put center shelves in its place if you so desire. This entertainment center is an ideal option if you want a TV, as well as a fireplace in your bedroom.

9. Natural Wood Grain

I truly love the detail on this stunning rustic entertainment center from Wayfair! I usually tend to lean more towards furniture that has a natural wood grain finish. Most wood furniture is made from engineered wood, so a natural grain finish helps in making the piece look more real and authentic. I like that this entertainment center has two detailed cabinets on either side, and that the cabinet in the center contains a beautiful glass front. Naturally, this rustic entertainment center also has some great storage, and you can easily store breakable novelties safely behind the glass cabinet. Add a touch of rustic style to your new home!
