8 Fun Girls Night Cocktails You Should Try

We all need a girls’ night once in a while. Maybe, you are a bit tight on money and can’t go to the bar with your friends. Well, I have 8 tasty, aesthetic cocktails for you to try with your friends. They will save you tons of money and you won’t have to worry about getting anywhere. Just stay in your sweats and enjoy these drinks.

1. Strawberry Cotton Candy Cocktails

Are you missing the carnival? Do you have a sweet tooth? This cocktail is perfect for you. Not only do you get the sweet taste of cotton candy but it has a magic act too. The cotton candy will disappear right before your eyes.

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 4 strawberries
  • 2 ounces of cotton candy
  • 2 limes
  • 1/3 cup of your favorite vodka
  • 2/3 cup of your favorite rosé
  • 2/3 cup of your favorite champagne

Directions

  1. Cut your strawberry 5 times up to the stem, making sure the slice fan apart, then set them aside
  2. Take the cotton candy and split it in 2. Make a hole in the center of each cotton candy ball and put a strawberry in each. Then, seal up the ball.
  3. Cut the lime into half. Make slit on the lime slice from the center through the rind.
  4. Mix the vodka and rosé in a shaker. Squeeze the lime into the mixture, then add champagne.
  5. Put one cotton ball (stuffed with a strawberry) into a martini glass. 
  6. Add a lime slice on the glass.
  7. Pour the drink around the cotton candy.

2.  Birthday Cake Martini

Is your or your friend’s birthday coming up? You or your friend deserves a drink that screams, “IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!” It has a birthday cake taste and sprinkles added on the rim. Feel free to add a candle on top for more of a celebration.

Ingredients for 1 serving

  • 2 ounces of half and half
  • 2 ounces of whipped vodka
  • Honey and sprinkles
  • 1 ounce of white chocolate liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounces amaretto

Directions

  1. Grab 2 plates. Place about a teaspoon of honey on one and sprinkles on the other.
  2. Put your martini glass on the plate with honey, then put it in the sprinkles. Set it aside.
  3. In a shaker, add ice, vodka, amaretto, white chocolate liqueur, and half and half. Shake thoroughly.
  4. Strain into your martini glass.

3. Peppermint Espresso Martini

This drink is meant for the holidays but I think it should be drunken all year round. If you are a big fan of peppermint and coffee, you will love this drink. It’ll give you a little extra boost if you are feeling tired, that’s for sure.

  • 1 part vodka
  • 1 freshly brewed espresso
  • 1 1/2 parts Kahlua Peppermint Mocha
  • Splash of cream
  • Crushed peppermint
  • Honey
  • Ice (optional)

Directions

  1. Grab 2 plates. Place about a teaspoon of honey on one and crushed peppermint on the other. 
  2. Dip one martini glass into the honey then place it into the crushed peppermint piece. Put it to the side.
  3. Grab a cocktail shaker, add ice, Kahlua Peppermint Mocha, vodka, espresso, and cream. Shake thoroughly.
  4. Pour the cocktail into the glass.

4. Sorbet Prosecco Float

When summer starts, you will want these. From the mint to the lemon sorbet, you will feel super refreshed after drinking this.

Ingredients for 4 servings

  • 1 bottle of Prosecco
  • Angostura Bitters
  • 1 pint of lemon sorbet
  • 1 pint of blood orange sorbet
  • Mint

Directions

  1. Add 2-3 dashes of bitters at the bottom of the glass.
  2. Place 2 small scoops of sorbet in the bottom of the glass.
  3. Take the bottle of Prosecco and pour it over the sorbet.
  4. Add mint on top.

5. Pink Lady Cocktail

The Pink Lady Cocktail is one of the first “girly” cocktails. It has been around since the prohibition era, when people wanted to mask their gross cheap liqueur with a good taste.

Ingredient for 1 serving

  • 1/2 ounce of applejack
  • 1 1/2 ounce of gin
  • 1/2 ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce of grenadine
  • 1 small egg white
  • 1 maraschino cherry

Directions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add ice cubes, gin, applejack, lemon juice, and grenadine. Measure 1/4 to 1/2 ounce of the egg white.
  2. Shake thoroughly.
  3. Strain into a cocktail glass.
  4. Add a cherry on top.

6. Mississippi Mud-tini

  • 1 ounce of Hazelnut Liqueur

  2. Add the unsweetened fruity iced tea, rose vodka, rosemary syrup, and vanilla. Stir until it is thoroughly mixed.
  3. Fill club soda until the glass is full.
  4. Add rosemary.

  • 1 1/2 ounces of Blue Curacao Liqueur
  • 6 ounces of pineapple juice

Directions

  2. Add the coconut rum, Blue Curacao Liqueur, pineapple juice, orange juice, and ice.
  3. Blend until it turns into a slushy consistency.
