8 Destinations You Need To Visit During Fall Break

As school starts back up, you may be dreaming about your plans for fall break. Whether the changing weather makes you long for summer or wish for fall, we have a fall break destination for you. 

1. Branson, MO

Branson is the perfect long weekend destination if you live in the midwest! As a hub of entertainment, shopping, and dining, Branson has activity options for everyone. Whether you are on a trip with your girlfriends or trying to entertain your kids, Branson is the place for you.

Families should visit Silver Dollar City, The Dixie Stampede, and Fritz’s Adventure. At Silver Dollar City kids can ride roller coasters while parents browse unique gift shops. The Dixie Stampede will keep all ages entertained with trick riding, competitions, and delicious food. If you need to burn some energy, Fritz’s Adventure has got you covered with a wide array of climbing equipment.

Friend groups should shop on the Branson strip, where they will find a wealth of shops, restaurants, and hotels. You can sip on coffee while browsing the shops which are all within walking distance. 3. Anna Maria Island, FL

If you aren’t quite ready to let go of summer, head to Anna Maria Island! Here you can soak up the sun while tanning next to gentle ocean waves. Let the charm of Anna Maria Island whisk you away over your fall break!

On the island, you will find a wide variety of tourist shops, fresh seafood, and beautiful views. If you love sunrises and sunsets, you can enjoy the scenery while harvesting shells along the beach. While you are on the island, consider renting bikes for transportation. The island is small enough that you can bike to almost any location. 4. Zion National Park, UT

If you want to stay active over fall break, head to Zion National Park. Inside the park, you will find a variety of hiking trails that range from easy to difficult. Navigate your way through switchbacks or slosh through the water as you explore the beautiful terrain that belongs to this national park.

While you are visiting Zion, check out the Narrows, Angels Landing, and Canyon Overlook. On each of these trails, you will encounter tough terrain and breathtaking views. Who doesn’t love a good trip down south?! Surrounded by southern accents, delicious restaurants, and vibrant shopping districts, you will become endeared to Dallas. If you love trips to the city, this is the fall break destination for you!

Dallas is known for competitive sports, frozen margaritas, delicious barbeque, and rich history. If any of those things sound appealing to you, then Dallas may be your destination! While you are in Dallas, visit the Arboretum, Six Flags, and the AT&T Stadium. Each of these locations will give you a taste of the Dallas lifestyle while giving you a change of scenery. 6. Cancún, Mexico

If you want to take a trip out of the country, Cancún is the place to go! Although it is a popular tourist destination, it will be much quieter during fall break. If you want to avoid the crowds and relax on the beach, Cancún is the place for you!

Located in the Caribbean Sea, Cancún is known for its sandy beaches, numerous resorts, and vibrant nightlife. This is a great destination for couples and college groups.
