5 Key Benefits Of Drinking More Water (Than You Usually Do)
Water is life! Though some of us may hate to drink it, there is no denying that it is essential that we do for the overall health and maintenance of our bodies. And nothing beats that cold crispiness of drinking water after having a hard-sweaty workout or hard-sweaty sex 🙂 There are so many benefits of drinking more water, but here are just a few of them.
There are a plethora of great reasons why we should drink more water, with the main one being our bodies need it! And there are a plethora of benefits to drinking it as well. So, if you are one of those people who slack on drinking water, here are 5 key reasons why you need to do better….
Clearer Skin
Drinking more water will indeed improve your skin. When you try to drink at least close to a gallon of water of a day (health experts say we should drink a gallon a day anyway), your skin will look brighter, clearer and more even-toned. Who doesn’t want that?
Weight Loss
Water is a tremendous help in helping you lose weight1 I have noticed for myself personally that ever since I started drinking more and more water, my waist has gotten smaller and my tummy doesn’t look as big.
Flushes Out Toxins In The Body
We consume a lot of toxins in the food that we eat, especially in fast food that has insanely high amounts of sodium. Drinking more water will help flush out those toxins in our bodies so we don’t feel as “heavy” from eating something terrible.
Increased Energy
You ever noticed how when you drink soda, you may feel lazy after but with water you feel lighter and energetic? Because water flushes out the toxins in our bodies, that creates more room for us to have increased energy levels.
Our Bodies Need It
I had to state this vital key once again with a little more depth! Our bodies cannot function as they should without water. Water can help with things such as relieving constipation, treating kidney stones and alleviating headaches. We also need water to help us stay hydrated!
So, put down the Sprite and go drink a bottle of Poland Spring instead!
