Bacari W 3rd is a petite Mediterranean themed restaurant designed by Matt Winter and located on W 3rd St in Los Angeles, California. This little restaurant was inspired by Winter’s previous trip to Italy and is described to be more a backyard of a home in Italy rather than a restaurant in Los Angeles. Walking into Bacari W 3rd you’re greeted with warm dark tones and it’s laid back ambiance with stunning architecture. Entering this restaurant you immediately spot the beautiful stone work, reclaimed Italian terra cotta floors, herbs and cured meat, and lit lanterns hanging from the ceiling. Right away you’ll feel like you’ve left sunny California and entered a little establishment in Siena, Italy and that’s just part of why it’s been given five stars.

Bacari Isn’t just a beautiful place to look at and be in, but the food and drinks are also a huge part of what makes this restaurant so great. The head chef for this restaurant is Lior Hillel. Born and raised in Israel, Mr. Hillel made his way to America working as an Executive Chef and eventually ended up joining the owners of the Bacari chain, Robert and Danny Kronfli. The menu consists of succulent meals such as octopus, chicken liver, bread pudding, Gorgonzola pasta, and so much more. Along with affordable signature dishes, the variety of drinks is amazing. With indoor and outdoor seating, this restaurant is the perfect place to come for lunch or dinner and just relax by yourself or with a friend.

2. North Italia

North Italia is an Italian themed restaurant in Santa Monica, California about 1 mile from Santa Monica Beach. Every day a new delicious hand made from scratch dish is prepared, like the Chef’s daily pizzas, waiting to be recognized and devoured. This restaurant also has a tempting assortment of wines, beer, and house-made cocktails. This beautifully structured five star restaurant is at the first level of the historic El Dorado Building located in Spring Street Downtown Los Angeles. This 300 seat restaurant feels very exclusive and prestigious, and as it’s true this restaurant is very prestigious, this restaurant is just about open to everyone. The restaurant was designed by owners David and Fanny Rolland and it features a skylight, two bars, an indoor mezzanine level, and an outdoor patio with beautifully placed lights and heat lamps. During the day this restaurant goes from being a classy place to have brunch with friends, to an upscale impressive dining experience to host for business partners/ clients at night.

Le Petit Paris has more to offer than memorable architecture and beautiful interior, the executive chef is Nigel Solancho. Mr. Solancho was born in Quezon City, Philippines and came to Los Angeles with many cooking skills from his previous experiences in Bangkok. His modern French technique style cooking skills took off when he was offered a position at this French themed restaurant. Although the menu has shortened since the pandemic, this restaurant still serves mouth watering dishes always with a French touch.
