5 Depop Shops To Check Out
If you have never heard of Depop before, let me explain. Depop is a shopping app that launched around ten years ago. Some say it is a mix between Instagram and eBay, as it allows users to sell a wide array of products. You can find vintage pieces, up-cycled thrift finds, handmade items, and the list goes on.
The fashion industry and how we consume fashion change rapidly. Many people are looking to shop more sustainably and ethically because research has shown how harmful fast fashion is to the environment. Due to this, Depop has taken over the game and there are over thirty million people around the world that participate in the app.
Depop has quickly become my preferred way to shop, and throughout countless hours of scrolling through the different pages, I have selected 5 sellers with shops that you need to check out.
1. @thriftingfairyy
The thriftingfairyy, also known as Nicole, is a very popular seller on Depop that has made close to nine hundred sales! If you are into bold colors and funky patterns, you will definitely love Nicole’s page. A lot of her pieces have that 90’s and Y2K vibe, which is totally coming back into style!
Nicole is based in the Los Angeles/Southern California area, and she carefully handpicks and up-cycles pieces to put into the hands of people around the world. There are so many items listed on Nicole’s page that it is almost impossible to look through and not find something that you want to buy! Nicole strives to make her shop very inclusive, so you are able to find a wide range of sizes on her page, which is an aspect that I love.
Finally, you can often find sales running on Nicole’s page. She offers discounts and free shipping when you purchase two or more items, and every so often she does BOGO sales, which is amazing!
P.S.–She ships internationally!
2. @thelookhaus
If you are in the market for a new dress, this is the shop you need to check out. Thelookhaus has a ton of listings on their page, and besides the gorgeous dresses, you can find bustiers, corsets, skirts, lingerie, and various other tops.
The aesthetic of thelookhaus is perfectly described in their bio; colorful, fun, and flirty. If this fits your vibe, then you will definitely love this shop. When shopping on Depop, a lot of the products you will see are secondhand, with some noticeable flaws to them. However, everything sold by thelookhaus is in like-new condition!
One of my favorite aspects about thelookhaus’s page is the photos of the items. Each listing is photographed in front of the same background, so it gives their page a nice aesthetic. The clear photo always captures the product perfectly, so you will know exactly what you are paying for.
3. @lillyybearr
lillyybearr, also known as just Lilly, is one of the most well-known Depop shops out there. She has made close to ten thousand sales! On her page, you can find clothing of all different sorts; tees, tanks, dresses, bottoms, etc.
The items on Lilly’s page are all super unique and funky. There are a ton of cool tops with different features you do not typically see. Every time I go on her Depop page I always end up having to buy something, because pieces in regular clothing stores are nothing like hers!
Lilly models all of the pieces she has listed on her shop herself. Because of how many items she has posted, her effort and the time she puts into her page do not go unnoticed. If you want to see how Lilly finds so many of her amazing items, she has a Youtube channel with a “thrift with me” video up.
4. @ksweenjewelry
If you love crystals and handmade jewelry, look no further because I found the perfect Depop shop for you to check out. Ksween Jewelry has raw crystals, tumbled crystals, pointed towers, and crystal chips. You can find carnelian, rose quartz, fluorite, malachite, sodalite, and a bunch of others! As for their jewelry, they incorporate crystals into a lot of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings. I cannot even count how many listings they have on their page, there are so many options for you to choose from!
Their product descriptions are very detailed, so you will know the properties of the crystal you are getting, as well as information on the jewelry (material, size, etc.). You can even buy a custom jewelry piece, to get an item that matches you perfectly.
Their prices are super reasonable for the hard work that goes into making every item. Ksween Jewelry also offers discounts when you purchase more than one item, and they usually ship within one day.
5. @dreamyfairy
The dreamy fairy, also known as Gabby, has some amazing high-quality vintage gems on her Depop shop. Gabby also carries a lot of popular brands, such as Harley Davidson, Ed Hardy, and Juicy Couture (she has some juicy couture bags listed on her page right now that I am OBSESSED with). If you are a fan of these brands, check her out!
One of my favorite things about Gabby’s shop is that she has extremely fast shipping. She is based in the Los Angeles area, so shipping time may vary depending on where you live in the world. Usually, items are shipped out the next day after your purchase!
Gabby almost always has sale items listed on her page. As of current, she has items discounted to $10 and $20 dollars, which is such a great deal for the quality of the pieces. She also does buy one get one sale pretty frequently as well. Not to mention, you get free shipping if you buy more than one item and a FREE gift with every purchase!
