5 Clean Eating Cookbooks You Need In Your Kitchen

If you want to find a cookbook that provides delicious and nutritious meals, you’ve come to the right place! These cookbooks are packed with healthy recipes that will leave you feeling great without compromising on your nutrition. The recipes are full of mouthwatering flavors that will make you forget that you are eating healthy!

1. Max Living Cookbook

Max Living is a chiropractic company dedicated to treating the whole body. Their goal is to help you live a healthy life using natural treatment methods. In addition to excellent chiropractic care, they also emphasize establishing a balanced diet as part of a healthy lifestyle. If you are looking for easy, healthy meals, this is the cookbook for you!

In addition to recipes, the authors of this cookbook have included information on the dangers of modern nutrition. They give a history of how the quality of our food has slowly declined. They also provide plans for weight loss that are backed by scientific research. If you struggle to find healthy food in the grocery store, the cookbook provides tips on what labels to look for and how to stock up on food.

My favorite dinner recipe in this cookbook is Chicken Savoy. It is quick, simple, and delicious! You can add some Zesty Lemon Quinoa and Walnut Coleslaw on the side for a balanced meal. If you need a sweet bite after dinner, try the Chocolate Bark or Frozen Yogurt.

2. Against All Grain

This cookbook is packed with satisfying paleo recipes that satisfy your tastebuds without compromising nutrition. After an extensive battle with an autoimmune disease, Danielle Walker decided to reinvent her health by changing her diet. Her recipes prove that a diet free from refined sugars, grains, dairy, and gluten can still be flavorful and exhilarating.

This cookbook is perfect for people battling sicknesses that modern medicine is not able to treat. Many of our health problems are rooted in gut health. If our gut is not healthy, then we will not be able to live our lives to the fullest! Danielle shows that healthy living doesn’t just involve buying healthy food. It also involves making educated nutrition choices.

You cannot go wrong with any of the recipes in this book! Some of my favorites are the Slow Cooker Sesame Orange Chicken, Chicken Tacos, and Spinach Sausage Lasagna. Some of these dishes require extra preparation, but the flavors are worth the extra work! If you have picky kids, Danielle also has a section of healthy recipes that will have their mouths watering.

3. Quick & Easy Ketogenic Cooking

Keto diets focus on having a low-carb diet. This includes cutting back on carbs like white bread, pastries, sugar, and soda. In this cookbook, Maria Emmerich gives several delicious recipes that follow a keto lifestyle. If you want to get more calories from protein and fat, but are not sure where to start, this cookbook is for you!

As a nutrionist and food blogger, Maria knows a lot about clean eating. Her cookbook is chalked full of simple, mouthwatering dinners that are perfect for people with busy schedules. She tells her story about learning to cook healthy in the midst of adopting her two boys. If adoption is part of your story in any way, her story will speak to you. Since she is passionate about making healthy eating quick and easy, her recipes will appeal to busy moms who are struggling to maintain a balanced family diet.

At the front of the cookbook, you will find a list of healthy fats, natural sweeteners, and tips on how to stock your keto kitchen. Some of my favorite recipes are the Slow Cooker “Butter” Chicken, Grandma Nancy’s Italian Beef, and Chicken Alfredo. If you need a sweet bite, try the Cheesecake In Jars or Dreamy Chai Float recipes.

4. Healthy, Quick & Easy College Cookbook

If you are a college student, you know that it can be hard to eat healthy! Between classes, sports, and other commitments, it is very tempting to just survive on fast food. I’m here to tell you that it is possible to eat healthy in college! This cookbook gives tips on creating recipes that are nutritious, satisfying, and affordable.

You may have to get a little creative with how you stock your campus kitchen for these meals. Fortunately, this cookbook provides helpful tips on that. Some highly recommended recipes include Avocado Toast, Ramen Salad, and Shrimp Fajitas. There are also a plethora of snack recipes for students to munch on while they study. Each recipe is easy to follow, making this the perfect cookbook for students with little to no cooking experience.

5. Food In Jars

If you want to master the art of canning, this is the cookbook for you! It is always wise to have a store of jarred food in your pantry in case of an emergency. In this cookbook, Marisa McClellan guides you through a variety of food in jars, and the minimal equipment you need to master this skill. If you follow her recipes, you will have a pantry full of delicious canned food in no time!

Some people may think that they need a variety of tools to be successful at canning. In her introduction, Marisa assures novices that they really only need a few basic kitchen tools. If you have a large pot, several measuring cups, and a wide-mouth funnel, you will be set! Some recommended recipes from this cookbook are the Chocolate Hazelnut Butter and Pickled Asparagus. Preserving food at home is a great way to monitor the sugars and additives that are in your kitchen, especially if you are trying to eat clean.

6. Accessories

Clean eating sometimes requires extra preparation! This isn’t a bad thing, it just means that you have to be disciplined to plan out your meals and have the necessary tools. To make some of the recipes in these cookbooks, you will want to have accessories like a food processor, handheld spiralizer, and vegetable chopper. These tools will cut back on your preparation time and save your hands from getting cramped!
