2. Red, White And Blue Sangria

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been seeing all kinds of different summery sangria recipes on social media lately, so it didn’t surprise me when I came across this version. To make this, you’ll need strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, two bottles of white wine, one cup of triple sec, half a cup of berry-flavored vodka, half a cup of fresh lemon juice and half a cup of simple syrup. Simply combine all of the ingredients together in a large pitcher with ice and you’re good to go! You can also cut the pineapple pieces into stars if you’re feeling extra festive.

3. Red, White And Blue Vodka Lemonade Slush

This drink is sure to cool you off on a hot July day. To make it, you’ll need ice, grenadine, blue curaçao, vodka and lemonade. Start by using a food processor to crush three cups of ice and one cup of grenadine together until slushy. Then, do the same thing again with one cup of blue curaçao. Note: it’s important for those two layers to be very thick, so add more ice if necessary. Next, add one cup of vodka, one cup of lemonade, and three more cups of ice and blend until slushy. Lastly, prepare the drink by layering in the correct color order and serve!

4. Fireworks Pina Colada

To make this festive drink, you need frozen strawberries, white rum, crushed ice, coconut cream, blue curaçao, crushed pineapple and (optional) whipped cream. Start by heating a small sauce pan over medium heat and add 6oz. of frozen strawberries. Stir it until they are defrosted and somewhat liquid. Then, add two tablespoons of white rum and blend together either by hand or in a blender. If you used the blender, clean it out, and then add two cups of crushed ice, half a cup of coconut cream, half a cup of blue curaçao, half a cup of crushed pineapple, and a quarter cup of white rum and blend until they are all combined. Pour both mixtures into glasses and top with whipped cream if desired and add a small flag for garnish.

5. Blueberry Coconut Sparklers

For this drink, you need three cups of fresh blueberries, three tablespoons of lemon juice, half a cup of coconut rum, two and a half cups of ginger ale, ice and coconut flakes for garnish. First, muddle the blueberries at the bottom of a medium bowl. Then, add the lemon juice and coconut rum, stir until combined, and then use a strainer to strain the mixture. Next, add the ginger all and slowly stir until combined. Garnish the rims of the glasses with coconut flakes, add the mixture to the glasses, and serve!

6. Patriotic Punch

The kiddos don’t have to miss out on the 4th of July drinks! You can use whatever red, white and blue drinks you think the kids will like (fruit punch, blue gatorade, and a kid-friendly pina colada drink, for example.) Once you have the drinks and are ready to prepare it, start by filling the glass about a quarter to a third of the way up with the drink that has the highest sugar content. Then, fill the cup up with ice. Next, slowly pour in the drink with the second highest sugar content. Lastly, repeat with the last layer. Then, to get creative with straws, you can use twizzlers – just snip the ends of it. Now you’ve got a kid-friendly drink that all the kids are sure to love.

8. Captain America Kids Drink

If the last kid-friendly drink didn’t sound too appealing, give this one a try – especially if you have kids that are into Captain America. To make this, you will need: one can of cherry 7-Up, one ounce of grenadine, a quarter cup of pina colada mix, and one cup of either blueberry kool aid, blue gatorade or blue Hawaiian juice. Start by filling a glass with ice, then pour in the cherry 7-Up with the grenadine. Next, add the pina colada mix. Lastly, top it off with the blue drink. The colors will swirl together giving major patriotic and Captain America vibes.

9. Red, White and Blue Ice

Yes, you read that right. Even if you just can’t be bothered with making creative 4th of July drinks like these, you can still be patriotic. All you’ll need to do is get some ice molds (regular or star-shaped), fill them with water, add a few drops of red and blue food coloring to a few of them, and pop them in the freezer over night. You will then have patriotic ice to fill even just a glass of water.

10. Red, White and Blue Jell-O Shots

To make these, you need gelatin packets (some unflavored for white, and either red and blue flavored, or you can just use food coloring) and vodka. Empty the jello packets into a pan with boiling water and stir until jello is dissolved. Once it’s dissolved, add in the vodka and stir until combined. Then, layer the mixtures into shot glasses and let them sit in the fridge for about two to four hours. Once they’re done setting, you will have a fun, tasty treat for your guests to enjoy!
