This past summer, I had the pleasure of taking a trip to Italy with my family. Immediately, I was immersed within the rich culture, history and language. I enjoyed eating nothing but pizza and pasta while roaming the thinly-lined streets, surveying the local shops and documenting my adventure. This canal truly is grand – it connects all of the other waterways within the city of Venice. While riding on a gondola or vaporetto (water taxi), you’ll get the chance to see famous Rialto Bridge, old churches, and even the building where George Clooney got married!

Trust me when I say you haven’t lived until you’ve tried gelato. I ate it every day while in Italy and I do not regret it all! Your taste buds will thank you. FOODIES, I’m talking to you: this is the number 1 reason to take a trip to Italy 😉
