15 Reasons Why Living Alone Is The Best

Living with a roommate or two can be an amazing experience but it can also create extra drama and stress in your life where you do not need it. Having multiple people contributing to the rent and having people around all the time can help in different ways! Regardless of the great reasons, there are even more benefits to living alone. There is less hassle and less stress when it is only you!

Here are some reasons why living alone is not so bad after all!

1. No Roommates

Maybe you have heard roommate horror stories from your friends, or perhaps you have some of your own. Living alone means you do not have to worry about living with people you hate, who are messy, or are difficult to live with for long periods of time. The less you have to worry about, the better and happier you will be!

2. No Drama

Your days of worrying about the water and air conditioning bill spiking, stressing about your toiletries, food, and more being stolen are over. Instead of fighting over whose turn it is to wash the dishes, or vacuuming, you can do all of this on your own, whenever you want! Plus, those roommate fights never have to happen because you are all on your own.

3. Less Stress

Instead of having to nag your roommates to pay their share of the rent or utilities, or ask them for the tenth time to wash their dirty dishes, you can rest easy knowing everything is already taken care of! If you have been living with loud roommates who do not respect you or your sleep schedule, living alone is the dream.

4. You Can Live Where You Want

This applies to both the apartment or house of choice, as well as where your space is located! Instead of having to factor in other people, you are your only factor. You can choose to splurge and live in a nice space or choose to save money and save up to buy a home! If you do not mind a long commute to work, you could live further out if you wanted to.

5. You Can Move When You Want

If the company you work for wants you to relocate, you could move whenever you needed to! Maybe you want to go after your dream job or live in your dream city. Living alone means that you can pack up and move wherever you want, whenever you want! Plus, you will not feel guilty about leaving other people to cover your portion of the rent.
