To add to its appeal you get to keep a souvenir at the end of it all when you pick up your completed pieces five days later. Wendys Workshop will let you book a table in advance so you can be sure there’s space for you.
Sometimes the classic dates are the most fun, and you can’t go wrong with an evening bowling at Tenpin, especially with some food and drinks thrown in. If you make date night a Thursday you can take advantage of their deal to get two games of bowling, a sharing platter and a drink for just £10 a person.

Canbury Gardens is a good place to go and relax, spend some time together outdoors maybe even have a picnic of pre-packed yummy food. During your visit be sure to check out the pub that sits inside the park (The Boaters Inn) and have a few drinks by the river, its atmosphere is lovely and there’s a great vibe all year round.
You don’t need to be a rower to enjoy the river when you’re in Kingston, you and your date can jump on a boat without all that effort. Turk Launches is a 300-year-old riverboat company that cruises along one of the most scenic stretches of the Thames, leaving from Kingston daily.

Another classic date night staple is the cinema, in the age of Netflix and chill it’s nice to go out to watch a movie once in a while. The cinema most local to Kingston University is actually the ODEON at the Rotunda Centre.
