A common misunderstanding when it comes to breaking bad habits is that a lot of people tend to miss something that is called a slip-up. For clarification, a slip-up is something that occurs when a person trying to overcome their bad habits, only to revert back to level one. If you really want to genuinely beat this bad habit, than all you have to do is believe in your ability to conquer whatever your struggle may throw at you.

If you want to change your ways when it comes to overcoming bad habits, then my suggestion would be to change up your environment. The reason why is because I believe that your environment often plays a role in why bad habits are common in your life. For example, if you are in a negative environment, than chances are, beating your bad habits is not going to go well for you. However, if you leave your negative environment behind, then the chances are you will be more positive and much more focused on accomplishing your goals of beating and breaking your bad habits.
