The more comfortable everyone is with each other, the more fun it will be, so I suggest inviting those who already know each other and keeping the introductions to a minimum.
While you want the setting to be filled with the Christmas spirit, it is better not to overwhelm your guests, so try not to go overboard with holiday decorations. Make sure to have the basics: a Christmas tree, mistletoe and tinsel. Maybe throw in a few snowmen decorations and put a unique twist on a typical party item.
