10 Simple But Fun Hairstyles for School
I have been the person where I wear my hair straight for weeks on end because I have no idea what fun hairstyles to try. Also, I am just lazy so I wouldn’t want to put in the effort trying to find good ideas. But, now, I finally have searched and found 10 easy, fun hairstyles for school. Don’t worry I will give you the steps for each style.
1. Slicked Back Ponytail
Ever struggled to keep all your hair back in your ponytail? Maybe you have some flyaways or baby hairs that are always going crazy? Well, this hairstyle is perfect for you. You may want to try this hairstyle when it is a little dirty. So, wait to wash it. You will need hairspray and clear pomade. First, grab some water with your hands and then put it in your hair. Next, rub a little bit of pomade and spray some hairspray into your baby hairs. Grab your pony and keep brushing until the bumps are gone.
2. Braided Ponytail
This hairstyle is perfect for spring. This hairstyle looks difficult but is actually quite easy. To start off, you want to curl your hair. Don’t forget heat protectant. Place your fingers on the sides of your crown. Go down to the middle to create a triangle and put it in a ponytail. Brush your pony and then pull little sections at the top of your head. Do the same thing two more times with the next two sections below that ponytail. Next, divide your top ponytail into two sections. Pull the ponytail below up through the two sections and clip it out of the way. Do it again with the third ponytail. Pull on your hair because you will want that bubbled look.
3. Messy Bun
This style takes literally 30 seconds. It’s perfect for people who like to jump out of bed and run to class. Act like you are putting your hair into a ponytail and lay the hair around your hand. Then, grab the hair around your hand (so it’s a backwards ponytail). Wrap your hair tie around the bun that you created. Take the rest of the hair around the base. You can put a bobby pin in it to hold it better.
4. Space Buns
This is another hairstyle where you should want dirty hair for it to work better and give texture. To begin, spray in dry shampoo and brush your hair. You should brush your hair into a middle part because you will have two buns on your head. Brush half your hair away so you don’t bring it into the other bun. You can leave out your front pieces to frame your face. Put it into a messy bun. It doesn’t have to be perfect because you can fix it up after. Wrap around the extra hair around the base. You need to put several bobby pins to hold it in place. Do the same thing to the other side. When you are finished, spray some hair spray. Don’t be frustrated if it looks different every time. This happens to everyone.
5. Sleek Low Bun
This hairstyle is perfect if you want to keep your hair tightly back and out of the way. You should begin with brushing out your hair. To keep the style last, you will want to put in hair mousse and comb it through your whole head. Put your hair into a middle part. Comb your hair back behind your ears. Put pomade in your hair to keep it down. We don’t want any baby hairs coming through. Put your hair into a low ponytail then wrap your hair around your ponytail.
6. Bubble Ponytail
This is one of my favorite fun hairstyles. It is so cute and so fun. To begin, you may want to put a hair serum in your hair for frizz. You’ll definitely want to add hairspray to keep your hair looking smooth. Put your hair into a high or mid ponytail (whichever you prefer). Depending on how long your hair is, go about a inch or two inches down and put in a elastic ponytail holder. Pull slightly at your little bubble to have more of a rounder shape. Continue this until the bottom of your hair!
7. Pinned Sides
Pinning your hair back is the easiest hairstyle out of all the ones I have mentioned. You can make so many fun hairstyles with pins. You can grab some fun butterfly or pearl hair clips if you are trying to spice up your hair. To begin, brush your hair out or curl it if you want to. Put your hair in a middle part. Stick one bobby pin on each side.
8. Fishtail
Fishtails are one of the prettiest braids, and I think you should put it into your hair routine. To start, put your hair into a ponytail. Then, split the pony in half. Take a half-inch piece of hair from the left ponytail and pull it to the right ponytail. Do the same to the other side. Keep doing this until you run out of hair. Surprisingly easy, right?
9. French Braids
This hairstyle is perfect if you are active and need your hair back. First, divide your hair down the middle. Take three sections. Move the left section over the middle and take the right section and cross it over to the middle. Continue that close to your head until your run out of hair. If you don’t do it close to your head, the braids will be super loose. Once you are done, do the other side.
10. Front Row Braid
If you have layers or bangs that you can’t get out of the way, this fun hairstyles what you need. Use a serum to keep flyaways away. Take a section of hair about an inch and a half back. Start with a section behind one ear, and separate into three sections. Continue to move through your hair like a normal braid. This should be along your hairline. Don’t stop until you have no hair left. To finish, pull on your braids so they have more width and volume.
