Before I started college, I had heard about college students who had changed their major several times before settling on one that was right for them. I vowed that would never be me and that I would stick with being a Biology major during my whole college career. Until I took a General Psychology course. That was when I realized that psychology could actually be a potential major for me. I really enjoyed the lectures on the different parts of the brain and also the various psychologists. Some people think that being friends with someone who is a psychology major also means that you have a therapist. Honestly, I don’t mind it when friends come to me with their problems. I’m a great listener and try to give the best advice, so I guess it works in my favor.
