10 Reasons To Go To College In Washington

Washington is not the first state most people talk about in the U.S. Many people know it from the famous Twilight series and its notoriety of constant rainy weather. However, it is a wonderful place to attend college for many different reasons, many of which might not have occurred to everyone. Read below for some reasons to go to college in Washington!

1. The Four Seasons

Students that are born and raised in Washington probably don’t appreciate the weather there as much as some out-of-state students do. Washington is known for having four seasons throughout the year. This not only makes for an aesthetically pleasing Instagram picture, but a nice change of scenery year round.

4. The Best of Both Worlds

Washington is a state where you have the choice of either going to school in the city (such as Seattle), or in a rural area, (such as Pullman). Although the University of Washington and Washington State University are rivals in every other sense, the students of each school are both proud to call their college home.
