10 Makeup Brands From Sephora You Should Check Out
If you are a makeup junkie like me, then you already know that Sephora is the best place to get your fix in. Even though I am a frequent Sephora shopper, I sometimes find myself getting overwhelmed by all of the choices. Here are 10 makeup brands at Sephora that you should check out, to make your shopping experience a little bit easier!
1. Grande Cosmetics
Grande Cosmetics is mostly known for their lash and brow products, though they carry items for hair and lips as well. Their award-winning GrandeLASH MD Lash Enhancing Serum is their best-selling product. It uses vitamins, antioxidants, and amino acids to promote longer and thicker lashes. I have used this stuff, and it really works!
Grande Cosmetics is on the pricier side, but their products are great and show amazing results.
2. Rare Beauty
Rare Beauty was created by Selena Gomez, and according to their website, their goal is to break down unrealistic standards of perfection. They carry a wide array of products, from foundation, brushes, palettes, and lipsticks.
One thing that they specialize in is cream products. Rare Beauty has cream blushes and highlights, with so many different shades to choose from. I have yet to try out one of their highlights, but their cream blush is my favorite. A little goes a long way with them, so they are definitely worth the money!
3. Milk Makeup
Milk Makeup is one of my favorite brands to check out at Sephora because they have such unique products. Every time I go, I see something new that I want to try. Milk is another brand that carries a lot of cream products, but theirs are mostly in stick form. They have cream sticks of blush, bronzer, highlight, serums, toners, and masks.
Their KUSH line also has products that contain hemp-derived cannabis seed oil. These include mascaras, lash and brow serums, and lip balms.
4. Sephora Collection
The Sephora Collection brand is exactly what it sounds like, Sephora’s collection. They have all sorts of beauty products; makeup, nails, hair, skincare, fragrance, and tools. They are priced very reasonably as well, costing less than the average of other brand’s items at Sephora.
They have great shade ranges as well, as their 10-hour foundation has fifty-three shades, and the lip and blush items have shades to compliment every skin tone.
5. Tower 28 Beauty
Tower 28 is a brand that does not get enough hype! They are a part of Sephora’s “Clean at Sephora” initiative, which means their products do not contain sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, formaldehyde, and more. Tower 28 Beauty is designed for people with sensitive skin.
One of my favorite products from this brand is their ShineOn Jelly Lip Gloss. They have ten different shades and they give off a nice subtle color to the lips. They are hydrating, not too sticky, and long-lasting! Tower 28 also has some other great lip products, as well as a nice cream blush and bronzer.
6. Fenty Beauty
I am sure most of us know of Fenty Beauty by now, but if you do not, it was created by Rihanna. Fenty transformed the beauty industry when they launched the brand with a foundation shade range of 40 different shades, which was unheard of at the time. Prior to this, many brands only released a few shades of a foundation, catering more towards lighter skin tones. Since Fenty, a majority of brands are following suit and releasing more inclusive shade ranges.
Not only does Fenty have great face products, but they also have universal lip gloss shades, colorful eyeshadow palettes, and an array of blushes, bronzers, and highlights.
7. Patrick Ta
Patrick Ta is one of Hollywood’s top makeup artists. He has worked with Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars, Gigi and Bella Hadid, the Kardashians, Jenners, Ariana Grande, and many other amazing celebrities. In 2019, he launched his own makeup line, self-titled Patrick Ta.
His brand carries tools and brushes, and face, eye, and lip products. The majority of Patrick’s products are all about that glow. He has an item called Major Glow Body Oil, and it smells AMAZING. I would wear it as perfume.
8. Ilia
Ilia is another brand that is a part of the Clean at Sephora line, and a lot of their products are Allure Best of Beauty winners. Their makeup is very light, so it will enhance your natural beauty.
My personal favorite product from Ilia is their Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara. I wear contacts and have very sensitive eyes, and a lot of mascaras are irritating to me. This one has never given me a problem. It makes my lashes look long and voluminous, without looking clumpy, AND it lasts all day!
9. Makeup By Mario
Makeup By Mario is another brand that was founded by a celebrity makeup artist. Mario Dedivanovic got his start working in Sephora, then later on FOX News, before doing the faces of tons of A-list celebs. You have probably seen some of his iconic looks done on Kim Kardashian West, who has had her makeup done by Mario for several years. Kim has started so many makeup trends, such as soft glam and contouring. What we do not realize is that Mario is the mastermind behind a lot of these trends!
Makeup By Mario carries brushes, a face palette, powder and stick blushes, and bronzers, and many eye products. A lot of his items are perfect for a makeup artist to have in their kits!
10. Bite Beauty
Bite Beauty is also a part of the Clean at Sephora line, and they are mostly known for their lip products. They carry lipsticks, lip crayons, lip gloss, lip stains, and the list goes on. Bite also has some face and eye products. Check out the Agave+ Lip Therapy, it is my favorite!
