10 Best Bronzers To Fake That Summer Glow

The weather is warm, the sun is shining, and you’re stuck inside the office all day watching those sweet, sweet hours of daylight pass you by. How are you ever supposed to perfect that sun kissed glow if you can’t find your way to the sunshine? The answer – bronzer. Even for those lucky ladies who are basking in the sun, looking tanner than ever…the bronze will fade. But that’s okay because I’ve rounded up the 10 best bronzers to fake that sought-after summer glow any day.

1. e.l.f. Sunkissed Glow Bronzer

A lot of makeup brands greatly irritate my skin, but e.l.f. isn’t one of them. E.l.f. products are always inexpensive but quality-driven. This particular product is only $2.00 online! The two colors that you can choose from are “Warm Tan” and “Sunkissed.” The product itself is airy, sparkly, and smooth, and it’s infused with Vitamin E, so that’s an added bonus! This bronzer is my favorite out of the 10 here.

2. NYX Matte bronzer

This bronzer is $9.00 online, which is pretty reasonable. “Light” is ideal for fair skin tones and has a very natural look. It makes contouring look like gentle shading. The rest of the colors look a bit heavy, so I’d recommend either sticking to “Light” or using a small amount of “Deep,” “Medium,” “Dark Tan,” or “Deep Tan.” On the NYX website, there are 149 reviews of this product. There’s also a Q&A section that allows you to ask questions about the product. The company makes it very easy for you to become educated about the selection and make the best consumer decision.

3. BOBBI BROWN Shimmer Brick

This product has been raved about all over the web. It’s $25.00 online at Sephora, but if you’re truly looking for a glowing, dewy finish, this bronzer is for you. “Shimmer Finish” has many pigments and highlights to leave your cheeks bright and golden. This shimmery product is perfect for a daytime makeup look. And it has 4.4 out of 5 stars online at Sephora.

4. ALMAY Smart Shade Bronzer Sunkissed

Only $11.99 online at Ulta, this is a more subtle bronzer. Multiple layers are needed to build up a really noticeable contour. I think that this is a benefit though, because you don’t have to worry about substantial, dark lines that make you look scary. The formula blends really easily as well and doesn’t look cakey.

5. PHYSICIANS FORMULA Butter Bronzer Murumuru Butter Bronzer

This product comes in 2 types: “Bronzer” and “Light Bronzer” and is known for its pleasant coconut smell. Unlike most bronzers, the color is a light brown instead of having an orange tinge. The ingredients are hypoallergenic, paraben free, gluten free, and oil-free. The packaging is pretty, too!

6. RIMMEL LONDON Natural Bronzer

Available colors include “Sun Light,” “Sun Bronze,” “Buff Beige,” and “Sun Dance.” The company makes the claim that the formula is waterproof, and indeed, it is long lasting. The product is $4.29 online at Target. It has great shimmer that is just the perfect amount of showy.

7. URBAN DECAY Beached Bronzer

This product is $28 online on the company’s website, which is pretty pricey, but the quality of the product is beyond amazing. It’s velvety smooth and matte, so it looks especially natural. The packaging is the prettiest I’ve seen thus far. If you have money to blow, definitely buy this.

8. MILANI Baked Bronzer

This product looks luxurious and way more expensive than it actually is (just $10). It comes in 2 shades, “Glow” and “Soleil.” The product has a mixture of pigments but blends perfectly into one shade when applied. It’s very sleek and fashionable.

9. BAREMINERALS Ready Bronzer

On the pricier end, this product is around $22.00 and is available in 3 shades: “The Skinny Dip” (Not sure why it’s called that), “The High Dive,” and “The Deep End.” It gives you model-like angles with the swipe of a brush. The product offers great coverage and the available colors are gorgeous warm hues.

10. MAYBELLINE NEW YORK Mineral Power Bronzer in Sunset Bronze

Less than $10 online on Amazon, this product will not clog your pores! Mineral products are typically great for your skin and this one doesn’t contains talc or fragrances either. This bronzer is a lighter shade so it is more spring and summer oriented. The only downside is that the company tests on animals.
